Qualifications: Diploma in Business and Finance 

Certification: Cert IV in Bookkeeping; Cert III in Business Administration (Payroll, AP/AR, General Ledger); Xero Adviser Certified; Xero Payroll Certified; MYOB Certified; QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certified 

Katie had plenty of experience in administration and bureaucracy working for local government in the UK before moving over to Brisbane Bayside, Qld in January 2004.

Starting a part-time job in Bunnings in 2005, Katie quickly moved into helping customers at the service desk and in special orders.  Getting to the bottom of tricky situations is her speciality.

Since moving to Magnus in Sep 2016, Katie has shown her flair for peeling back the layers to solve problems and helping our clients to understand and meet their obligations.  She started with Magnus as an Administrator and Bookkeeper but her knowledge of accounting has increased and she now enjoys her days dealing with the variety of problems and situations our clients and staff are dealt with.  Katie may be pedalling like mad underneath but outwardly she has a calmness and efficiency which puts our clients at ease.

What do you like best about your job?: The challenges that are different each day.  Helping clients by explaining complex ATO matters in an easy to understand way.
